So I was supposed to hang out with Sternel and Alysania but to make a long story short MTA sucks and I couldn't make it and now I'm stuck at home all weekend. I haven't seen them since college, and I was looking forwad seeing them and catching up sooooo much. Plus I've never been to a Renaissance Faire before and that was going to kick ass. This is the second time my major plans for this weekend have been canceled (the first being a concert with my now ex boyfriend) I feel like I'm cursed, or at least this weekend is cursed for me. I seriously think some higher power or fate or whatever does not want me having any sort of fun this weekend. I say boo to that! I hope Sternel and Alysania have tons of fun, cause they have to have fun for me too

I took my road test today. I failed, which I kind of expected, but I did not do as badly as I thought I would. I got a 55 (the more points you have the worse you did, failing is 30 points and above. Before my test my driving instructor said he predicted I would get 95-100 points) I'm happy, hopefully I'll pass next time. I'm glad I had the experience.

So I still don't have my driver's license. I've been taking lessons, on and off, for about a year now. By this time, you'd think I'd be a farily decent driver, but no. So I have my first road test scheduled for next friday. I had a lesson on monday, it went really well, my instructor said I was ready to take the test. I had another lesson today, I didn't do so well and now he's saying he doesn't think its such a great idea that I take the test. I think I'm going to take it anyway, but I'm nervous as hell about it. I went from being all happy and confident on monday and now I feel like I can't do anything again. I figure even if I fail its better to at least try, but my instructor was pretty adamant about me not taking the test. I can still cancel, I'm confused, I don't know what to do.

I've been shopping way way too much. I've been spending lots of time in the mall (either just hanging out waiting for a ride after work or working at Macy's)and every time I go, I come home with shopping bags full of stuff. The sales are great now, I can't resist. Plus, I have been doing a lot of online shopping too. I have *counts 4 packages coming to my house this week. I'm usually fairly good with my spending. I do shop, but I've always been able to handle my bills. That all went out the window. I'll be good next month. I promise.

I had a great weekend.Friday- Went to the boyfriend's. Had a hell of a subway ride (Do not go to Coney Island an hour before the big hot dog eating contest starts). We went to his grandmother's and I got to play with his adorable 2 year old nephew :o) We then went out to eat with his brother and sister in law and had awesome mexicanSaturday,- Went to the Sea Gate beach club with all the old people and little kids. It was a beautiful day, the pool was the perfect temperature , we walked along the beach and had the yummiest daiquiris with whipped cream and sprinkles. Sprinkles + Alcohol= Happy ElissaSunday- Celebrated his grandparents' 60th anniversary. 60 years, I can't even fathom.Today was work, same old same old, too much photocopying! and then window shopping at the mall.
